TENTATIVE SCHEDULE OF
EVENTS
THIS SCHEDULE IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE
NOTE: This is a schedule of events for the Gathering of the Tribes Everyone that
attends is more than welcome to join in the activities that we present.
This will be a very laid back Gathering.
You are here to become balanced, meet people, and get rid of that tension that has
been building up the last few months.
A final schedule will be available at the
gathering.
THURSDAY - JUNE 14th, 2001
BEGINNING OF DAY THOUGHTS: The Gathering of
the tribes promotes peace between all peoples. Go quietly and peacefully in the
midst of turmoil and everyday tensions. Forget for the moment all your troubles and
concerns. Open yourself to the light of understanding.
Members of the Bands "Moonstruck" and "Spirit Quest" will be playing at
various times during the day.
9:30AM - 11:30 AM - CHECK IN at Etowah River campgrounds.
11:30 AM - OPENING CIRCLE - Visitors, Guests and Staff.

STROLL... Everyone who is not drumming, is invited to come on a midnight nature
hike (not long) and enjoy the beauty of the Goddess at midnight.
1:00 AM - DRUMMING STOPS if there are complaints. You are asked to
respect the sleep time of all other individuals.
END OF DAY THOUGHTS: Be courteous to everyone staying the
night at the campsites. It will be impossible for everyone to take showers in the morning
and at night... SO, be courteous and take your shower when no one else is.

1:00 PM to 2:30 PM: Gardnerian Wicca/Alexandrian Wicca/Welsh Traditional Witchcraft
Traditions by Rhuddlwm Gawr. Rhuddlwm will
contrast and compare different traditions of Witchcraft and types of paganism.
Rhuddlwm has been a HP and Elder of Crystal Dragon Coven, Y Tylwyth Teg Welsh tradition
for over 30 years. Rhuddlwm graduated from U. of GA. with BLA in Environmental
Design and from Bangor Inst., with a Ph.D. in Humanistic Psychology.
Rhuddlwm is a consultant for and presents seminars and workshops to Law Enforcement groups
in the Southeastern U.S. He is a certified Civil Mediator in the state of Georgia.

2:30 PM to 4:00 PM: Shamanism I by Bleiddwn.
Bleiddwn has studied with the famous Spiritual Teacher and Tracker, Tom Brown who learned
from native american teachers. Bleiddwn is also a Geologist and has studied various
martial arts.
2:30 PM to 4:00 PM: Wicca in the Workplace, the Military, and Other Sometimes Difficult
Situations by Rev Victor Anderson
4:00 PM to 5:30 PM: Drumming Workshop by
Lady Maeve. Lady Maeve has practiced and studied ritual
drumming for over 8 years. She has attended lectures and workshops by John Santos
and Babatunde Olatunji. Her style of drumming is unstylized, heartfelt and centers around
the deep voice of the tumba - the grandmother conga. "If anybody can dance, they can
drum," is one of her philosophies. She considers herself a "rhythm driver,"
that is, she drives the beat so that others may trace or improvise as they may knowing
that the basic beat is always there. Please bring a drum or rhythm making devices such as
claves or shakers.

2:30 PM to 4:00 PM - Tarot Workshop: by Lady Maeve. This
workshop will be using decks based from the Rider/Waite deck. Lady Maeve will discuss
various tarot spreads with emphasis on the Celtic Cross and Tree of Life forms. There be
discussion on various divinitory meanings from traditional Qabala to the more intuitive
approach. She will also teach a tarot meditation on the Court Cards of the Minor Arcana.
You are encouraged to bring your favorite deck as there will be a 'hands on'
practice/participation session.
2:30 PM to 4:00 PM: (OPEN)
4:00 PM to 5:30 PM - Accessing Energy Within and Without - Lady Caru will be sharing her
findings on the clearing and development of internal energy channels to aid people in
clearing and healing of themselves and others. This class will show various
techniques of mediation , mudras, visualization, chakras and energy movement, chi gung and
development of the amount of energy that can be retained and directed.
4:00 PM to 5:30 PM - (Everyday Spell Working)
5:30 PM to 6:30
PM: How to Chant - Lord Athos will be discussing chanting tecniques, its benefits, as well as
leading various chants with the group that attends this class.
5:30 PM to 6:30 PM: Dowsing
for Water, Oil, & Gold - Lord Rhuddlwm
6:30 - 7:00 PM - RITUAL SET UP.
by ritual staff, This includes the altar and ritual items.
7:00 PM - RITUAL PREPARATION Prepare yourself for ritual.
You might wish to Ground and center or take a ritual bath. Put on your favorite
ritual robes and get ready for Gathering2000!
8:00 PM - 9:30 PM - THE GATHERING RITUAL. Everyone will meet and
gather at the ritual space and socialize for one half hour, then the Gathering ritual will
begin at 8:30PM.
9:30 - 10:30 THE POT LUCK DINNER/FEAST
10:30 - 11:00 CLEAN-UP
11:00 - 12:00 PM - BARDIC CIRCLE AND DRUMMIMG
END OF DAY THOUGHTS: This is the new
Millenium. Begin your life anew. Be kind to everyone. We have lost
several Pagan Leaders this past year. We need new leaders. Meditate on how you
can help make our religion a guiding light of reason and happiness in a world of hate and
bigotry.
