About the Author

The author has spliced together the actual 1868 murder/suicide of James Killey on the Isle of Man to a riveting story of Arthurian mythology and the Knights Templar.

These interwoven elements are the result of years of research into religious and mythological origins, coupled with actual historic accounts and Medieval Romances. The background for John's research came from his years as a student at Kent State University and then Michigan State University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude in Anthropology and Art History. In 1986 he published "Doric Temple Proportions," a research paper in the American Journal of Archaeology.

John's background also includes years of archaeological fieldwork and museology for the Michigan State University Museum and Michigan's Mackinac Island State Park. John moved to Colorado in 1981 where he continued to work as an archaeologist in the western U.S. for several more years before entering the corporate world as a computer programmer and senior test engineer.

Today, John lives with his wife, Jane, and their three kids in Lone Tree, Colorado. Currently John and Jane are organizing tours to the Isle of Man to visit places mentioned in the book.
