Gathering of the Tribes
WELSH WITCHCRAFT AND THE GATHERING
OF THE TRIBES FESTIVAL:
This site was prepared for all Witches,
Wiccans, Pagans, Druids, Shamans, and Celts wishing to Relink with Nature and Spirit
within a Welsh Philosophy. There are more than 2000+ Pages. If you follow a
different Path, or no Path, please enter and spend the week learning about our beliefs and
customs.
INTRODUCTION: You are cordially invited to the Spring Pagan Gathering of the Tribes..
This event is
sponsored for the benefit and enjoyment of all like-minded people. All friends are
welcome. Please join with us as we share knowledge, celebrate life and attune ourselves
with the Lord and Lady through communion with Nature and each other at the Gathering of the Tribes to be held May 31 - June 3, at the PanGaea Sanctuary near Augusta.
This year the Theme will be "All Traditions are Real" With that thought in mind. We are inviting representatives of all pagan
traditions to come and set up a tent and table and let people know what your tradition is
all about. You can do it by passing out brochures, having sit down conversations,
demonstrating your dances, music, etc. All Traditions Are Welcome!
You will love this sanctuary!!!! There is primitive camping as well as RV sites, Bath
house, showers, ice, etc.
Have you ever wanted to just
get out in nature and totally forget all about your problems? Have you ever wanted
to really connect with the elementals and the Goddess of Nature? This is your
chance. Let us introduce you to them. Wade in a mountain river. breath
wonderful clean air with no pollution. Build a warm campfire and meet the elementals
of fire. Finally sleep on the wonderful cool earth element. These are
fantastic surroundings. Live like the Goddess for four days at our Gathering.
Consider it a life changing adventure and it will be. Leave your stress at home.
Grab your tent, or camper, buy some food and a camp stove, and get your Pagan self on up
here.
Experience something rare: a
wonderful pagan community that demonstrates love and trust with Networking, Drumming,
Music, Workshops, and a whole lot of Fun. The natural setting of the Etowah river is
rich with ancient native American energies that will allow us to renew our connection with
the Mother!
We welcome all Pagan and Earth
Religion Practitioners no matter the perceived status, be they seeker or High Priest and
Elder.
HISTORY: The first U.S. Pagan Gathering of the Tribes
was held in 1967 in the Forests of Northwest Maryland. The first Georgia Gathering
of the Tribes was held in 1976 at Unicoi State Park, Helen Georgia. (CLICK HERE TO SEE
HISTORY) Over the years Raymond
Buckland, Margot Adler, Janet & Stewart Farrar, Amber K, Selena Fox, Isaac Bonewits,
and many other well known Pagans have graced our Gatherings. THE 2005 GATHERING OF THE TRIBES WAS FANTASTIC!! CLICK HERE TO SEE WHAT THEY ARE SAYING ABOUT THE
EXPERIENCE!!!
We are not associated with
other "Gathering of the Tribes" festivals which are held in Virginia or
elsewhere.
